ConstructMind’s final deliverable is an XER file — the native import format for Oracle Primavera P6. The export follows a strict gate to ensure schedule integrity.

Export Requirements

The following conditions must all be met before the XER export becomes available:

  1. Every assumption in the Basis of Schedule must carry an Approved status. Any outstanding items will block the export.
  2. The Project Owner must explicitly commit the schedule as the final approved version. This is a deliberate, accountable action and cannot be automated.
  3. Once committed, the XER download is unlocked for the Project Owner to download.

EXPORT GATE
The export gate is enforced at the API level and applies to all user roles, including Org Admin. This design ensures that no unapproved scheduling assumptions enter your Primavera P6 environment.

Importing into Primavera P6

The exported XER file can be imported directly into Oracle Primavera P6 using the standard File > Import workflow. The file contains the full activity structure, relationships, milestones, and constraints as defined in ConstructMind.
